At times, someone from the pub, after many Guinesses, would join the group and sing. Sometimes just acapella, and sometimes with the bodhran drum. This woman had the most beautiful Irish voice, similar to Sinead O'Connor. She'd just turn around in her seat and sing, then go back to her girlfriends. Houston and I said we wouldn't leave the pub until she sang again and the man played the bodhran. They played together at about 1:00 a.m. so we could leave. The man also played a number of flutes.
