This is the village of Lockton, where we spent our first night in the moors. It's a town of about 120 houses, all stone. I really liked how the farms were right in town. Cows and sheep are moved right down the streets. There was a sign on the door to the hostel that asked you to wipe the poop off your boots.
This was right next to our hostel.
Sunset from our hostel.
This place was for sale. Would I like to get my hands on this yard!!!
We walked a bit out of town and came upon a massive gulley. It's called the Hole of Horcum, gouged by glacial meltwaters. The picture does not depict how deep this 'valley' is.
