Once a year for the last 800 (yes!) years the Midsummer Fair comes to Midsummer Commons. This is the oldest 'traveling fun fair' in England.
It offered lots of color, to be sure.
And whirring rides.
And the usual games.
And lots of pink stuff, including 'Fairy Fluff'.
This is Chris, screaming in glee while riding a 'magic carpet' down the slide.
Our friends from Virginia, Chris and Cathy visited us for a couple days in Cambridge.
We were in awe of some dangerous, spinning, death defying ride.
