Rhinebeck Wrap Up

Can't believe it's been over six weeks since we went to Rhinebeck. I'm so far behind, but hope to catch up soon. So here's the wrap up on this wonderful festival. We hauled all of this into the 300 square foot space and took over 4 fours to set up.

Ready for customers.

I always take time to get out and see the other vendors. This is a booth full of barely-spun sheep locks. Strands and strands of color. I bought a few to make a hair adornment.

I love this booth and the way she uses vintage baskets and crates for her industrial felt bags and stachels.

Cute idea of yarny corn cobs

and felted pumpkins

Hand felted whimsical hats

These two ladies stopped by my booth after taking a felt 'scarf' class. Loved their fall leaves and flowers.

I talked this little customer into modeling my sweater out of my sheep's yarn.

She's a natural!

Some of the booths are located in horse stalls

Along with yarn and fiber, Rhinebeck offers plenty of other wares, like these pickles, jams and other canned goodies.

and local wines

This is another booth I always make my way to. She also uses old crates and vintage things to show her  needle cases.

Pan flute music wafts throughout the fairgrounds.

And it wouldn't be a sheep and wool fest without the sheep!

or livestock fences and gates.

It's always a pleasure to see people walking their sheep around.

I plan to make some changes before next year's show, but overall, I'll have the same space, the same help (thanks Natalie!) and I hope the same customers. Thank you all for stopping by.
