I got up early one Sunday and rode down to the green that held the Strawberry Festival. We missed the fest because we went to the beach and didn't know about this decadent hippie fest or we so would've been there! This is just the aftermath. It was a sea of trash, from one end of the park to the other.
Vendors were packing up and I got to talking to one of them. We thought that 'Suzie' summed up the festival. She is all discombobulated, with her arms, feet and head on backwards.
There were about 200 tents in 'Tent City', adjacent to the fest. Folks were even sleeping in the trees overhead. Shoes and sleeping bags were falling from the trees. I saw more than one person walking around at 7:30 a.m. with a can of beer. Party on!
